Missing out on the group
Tonight, we revisted each other in a F2F environment. It was interesting to feel the difference in discussion and depth that was covered tonight.
Although I read the readings, I did not participate in the discussion board to share my thoughts with my classmates. This wasn’t an experiment to see what happened, however, I realized how much out of the loop I was when I didn’t particpate in the online discussion boards. I experienced my own learning but I missed some of the group building that went on during these discussions that I didn’t put together until after class reading some of the ideas.
