Second try, still hoping

Not just a building, but an entire campus

Posted by Scott Wojtanowski on February 12th, 2007

I took some time this week to dig deeper into Tapped In. I discovered there are rooms that a member can enter to participate in. By participation, I refer to adding to discussion boards, synchronous chat (which is then archived) and posting resources like hyperlinked websites, articles. After exploring a number of rooms, I realized that I was just hopping around rooms within one building; I was able to navigate outside of my building and discovered that I was online within one building among many others. These buildings incorporated a wide array of knowledge bases. A picture below illustrates the full Tapped In Campus.

Tapped In Campus
I’m still exploring the Tapped In Campus and will try to explore it in greater detail when I have more time. I’m quickly learning that time is an important theme of any learning environment. Time to explore, time to plan it out, time to learn!
